Bucks Sign Defenseman Harder

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League have announced the signing of defenseman Tyler Harder, from the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for the 2007-08 season.
Last season Harder played in 56 games for the Dauphin Kings, with 23 goals, 26 assists, for 49 points. He led the Kings in power play goals with 17.
"We are very happy to welcome Tyler to Laredo", said Bucks head coach Terry Ruskowski, "Tyler plays hard and we love to see that".
In addition to his 49 points last season, Harder, from Steinbach, Manitoba, led the Kings with 343 penalty minutes. "We need Tyler to come here and play the style he's used to playing", Ruskowski said.
Harder was with the Kings for parts of three different seasons, playing a total of 81 games, scoring 23 goals, 32 assists, for 55 points, with 497 penalty minutes.
Harder also spent parts of two seasons in the WHL, playing 18 games in 2003-04 for the Brandon Wheat Kings, and 40 games in 2004-05 with the Calgary Hitmen.
The Bucks, who open training camp October 8th, are preparing for their sixth season of play in the CHL and are looking for their third Presidents Cup Championship.
