Bucks' Ruskowski To Appear On ESPN Friday Night Fights

Laredo Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski will appear as a guest analyst on ESPN Friday Night Fights this Friday (May 21st) at 9pm CST. The event will air live worldwide on ESPN 2 from Laredo Energy Arena.
Ruskowski will appear in a segment on the ESPN broadcast with world-famous boxing analyst and trainer Teddy Atlas to compare boxing and hockey fights.
Ruskowski played in 999 career games in 15 seasons in the NHL and WHA scoring nearly 800 points and putting up over 2,000 penalty minutes.
"I am very excited for this opportunity to work on ESPN with Teddy Atlas for one night," Ruskowski said. "I have always been a big boxing fan so this will be really fun for me."
Friday Night Fights has aired weekly since 1998 and is television's only weekly boxing broadcast.
Ruskowski begins the 2010-11 campaign with a 533-356-86 coaching record, including a 319-142-47 record in eight seasons in Laredo.
The Bucks have qualified for the CHL post-season in each of their eight seasons as a franchise, winning two CHL President's Cup Championships (2004, 2006), one CHL Governor's Cup Regular Season Championship (2003-04), four straight Southern Conference Championships from 2004-2007, and five straight Southeast Division Championships from 2004-2008. Ruskowski was named CHL coach of the year in 2005-06 and has coached in four CHL all-star games.
