Dakota Bucks News Release

BISMARCK, N. D. - The Bucks came out firing on offense tonight. They started the game with a 30-yard passing touchdown from Glenn Cuiellette to JT Stokes on the first play from scrimmage. Buck's touchdowns on the deep ball did not stop there. Of the nine touchdowns put up by the offense, six came on plays of 25 yards or more.

Bismarck did a great job distributing the ball offensively by way of quarterback Glenn Cuiellette who finished with six touchdowns. Mike Carrigan led the receiving core with three touchdown catches, all of which were over 25 yards. JT Stokes opened the game up with a big score and burnt his defender for another one later in the second quarter. Raheem Harvey had a big game on the ground with two rushing touchdowns on designed sweep plays.

The Wrangler offense came out sluggish with only 13 points scored in the first half but turned it around and scored 26 in the 2nd half of the game. Quarterback Caden Walters struggled to find open targets in the first half of play. He opted to scramble on numerous occasions, one of which resulted in a fumble that was caused, recovered, and returned for 10 yards by Kiante Goudeau. Walters and the Wrangler's offense fought back in the 2nd half and added four passing touchdowns. Their receiving core finished with 6 scores. Keyvan Rudd and Daron Clark contributed two touchdowns each, and Marquian Johnson and Terrance Bynum each had one.

The Bucks had a day defensively. They forced the Wrangler's to turn it over on downs on four occasions. Two more turnovers were forced fumbles caused by Tre Harvey and Kiante Goudeau. Zuril Hendrick continues to be an impact player in the Bucks secondary. He made several plays in coverage and came down to support the run well. Da'Von Keith had himself a day with two sacks, one was on a Wranglers 4th and goal attempt.

The Bucks played hard and disciplined football on both sides of the ball tonight. The defense made key stops on 4th down when they needed to, and the aggressive offensive approach led by Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator Cory Ross resulted in nine Bucks touchdowns by five different players. The Wrangler's saw little offensive success until the second half and were not able to matchup and stop Glenn Cuiellette and the Bucks wide receiver core. Bucks WIN 61-39.
