Bucks vs. Jackalopes (All-time in Playoffs)

Bucks are 7-3 against the ‘Jacks all-time in the postseason

The Bucks look to stay hot in the playoffs, as they finished the regular season going 7-3 in their last 10 games, including winning the final three contests. Laredo will now meet a Jackalopes team who outlasted Austin two-games-to-one in the best of three first round series. Odessa rookie Alexandre Vincent won both games against Austin, stopping a combined 84 of 87 Ice Bats shots.

As the number one seed Laredo earned a bye into the conference semi-finals, and has not played since last Saturday's 6-2 win at Rio Grande Valley.

Newly crowned CHL MVP Jeff Bes looks to continue his stellar year in the postseason. As is the case for the regular season, Bes is the Bucks all-time playoff scorer with 87 points (39-48=87), with James Hiebert second with 56 points (26-30=56).

The Bucks are not short on playoff experience, as they have nine players who have played in at least 20 postseason games, including eight who have at least one championship ring.

Odessa comes into Saturday's game already having played three playoff games. The Jackalopes played stingy defense in allowing just three Ice Bat goals in the three game series. Vincent comes into the series with a 1.32 goals against average, and a .955 save percentage.

The Jackalopes have five players with at least two points in the three playoff games, with Mario Joly leading the way with four (0-4=4), and Dominic Leveille having three (3-0=3).

Game two of the series will be Monday night at the LEC, with tickets starting at $10. The first 1,200 fans to enter the arena will receive Thunder Stix courtesy of Reliant Energy. Season ticket holders who bought their playoff packages, and fans who buy walk-up tickets to Monday's game will receive a FREE hot dog and a soda.
