LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will open a season-high seven-game home stand Thursday night when they host the Odessa Jackalopes at the LEC on Big Buck Thirsty Thursday's, where beer is $2 all night! Game time is 7pm.

The Bucks look to get back on the winning track, as they play their first game since Saturday's 3-1 loss at Rio Grande Valley.
This is the first meeting between the Bucks and Jackalopes since Laredo swept Odessa out of the Conference Semi-Finals last season.
Bucks Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski was busy wheeling and dealing again this week, as he brought in rookie Center Ryan Salvis to replace rookie Ryan Penney, who was placed on the team suspended list for the remainder of the season.
Once again Veteran Jeff Bes leads the Bucks in scoring, as he has put up 14 points (2-12=14) thus far this season. Bes has scored at least one point in seven of the Bucks eight games this year.
Rookie Darryl Smith has a three-game point streak, where he has put up four goals and three assists in that span. Smith has a team-high seven goals in the Bucks eight games so far this season.
Laredo's power-play improved over the past three games, as they went 7-28 last weekend with the man advantage. In their first five games of the season, Laredo was just 4-40 on the power-play.
Odessa comes to the LEC on Thursday to begin a grueling three-in-three, where they will play in Laredo Thursday, in Rio on Friday, and at the Texas Brahmas on Saturday.
Odessa currently sits atop the Southwest Division with a 4-2-1 mark (9pts).
The 'Jacks are once again led in scoring by Sebastien Thinel (4-10=14), and Dominic Leveille (4-7=11).
Part of the Proceeds from ticket sales to the Bucks game against Rio Grande Valley on Saturday, November 8th will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.
