Bucks Open House Set For August 23rd

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League have announced that their annual Open House will be held on Saturday August 23rd, from 11am-4pm at the Laredo Entertainment Center. The event is free and open to the public.

This is your first chance to meet a few of this season's Bucks players, as some of them will be on hand signing autographs, as will Bucks head coach and general manager Terry Ruskowski. There will be behind the scene tours of the Bucks new bus, locker room, and the rest of the LEC. There will also be prizes, giveaways, free hot dogs and hamburgers, face painting for the kids and much more! Highlights of the 2007-08 season will be shown on the Video Tron throughout the afternoon.

"We always look forward to the Open House, it's the one time during the entire season that fans will have complete access to the entire LEC, and get to see places they wouldn't normally get to", said Ruskowski.

The Laredo Animal Protective Society Animal Shelter will be present at the Open House once again this year. Last year over 25 dogs and cats found new homes at the Bucks open house. For more information on the Laredo Animal Shelter contact them at (956)-724-8364.

The Bucks staff will be on hand giving fans a chance to purchase new Bucks merchandise, as well as inventory clearance items. At the Open House fans can also purchase single-game, season, and group tickets, and the Bucks staff will answer any questions you may have about payment plans and options.

"We are excited about the upcoming season", Ruskowski said, "We want our fans to come to Open House and talk about all the exciting things we have in store for this year".

The open house is also a chance to meet some of the Bucks corporate partners, as some of them will be on hand showcasing their company.
