
Bucks Nominated For Four CHL Awards

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks were nominated for four awards Saturday night (June 6th) at the Central Hockey League's annual summer conference in Phoenix, Arizona. The Bucks were finalists for three individual awards, and one team award.
Bucks Majority Owner Glenn Hart was a finalist for the Leadership award, V.P of Business Operations Nicole Kupaks was a finalist for the Soul of Service Award, while Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Bryan Benway was a finalist for Communications Executive of the year. The Bucks were also finalists for Community Relations Franchise of the year, which is headed by Kupaks.
Hart has won two CHL awards previously, taking home the 2005 Leadership award, and the 2006 Rick Kozuback award, while Kupaks won the 2005 Soul of Service award.
In the categories that the Bucks were finalists in, Rapid City co-owner won the Leadership Award, Cassidy Lange (Corpus Christi) won the Soul of Service Award, Rich Bocchini (Rio Grande Valley) won the Communications Executive Award, while Odessa took home the Community Relations Team Award.
