CORPUS CHRISTI, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League look to make it two straight wins tonight when they travel to take on the Corpus Christi Ice Rays at the American Bank Center. Game time is 7:05pm.

With the win last night Laredo moved to within 10 points of the Texas Brahmas in the Southeast Division. The Brahmas host Colorado tonight.
The Bucks got back on the right track last night with a 7-1 win over the Ice Rays. Laredo trailed 1-0 early, but stormed back to score seven straight goals to take the win.
Laredo has won three of their last four games.
Darryl Smith and Rick Kozak scored two goals apiece, with Smith adding an assist to lead the Bucks. Smith, who picked up his eighth multi-goal game of the season last night, still leads all CHL rookies in scoring with 51 points (25-26=51).
Brent Cullaton picked up an assist in his first game back with the Bucks last night. With Jeff Bes on the 30-day IR, Cullaton is the Bucks top active scorer with 57 points (15-42=57).
Tonight is the Bucks third straight game against the Ice Rays, a team they have posted a 7-1-1 mark against this season.
Andrew Martin is expected to get his first start in net tonight for the Bucks, as Sebastien Centomo re-aggrivated a lower body injury in last night's win. Martin has replaced Centomo in net in the Bucks last two games, stopping a combined 27 of 28 shots.
The Ice Rays enter tonight three points back of Arizona for the final playoff spot in the Southern Conference.
Corpus has lost five of their last six games, including two in a row at home.
All-Star Chris Richards leads the Ice Rays in scoring with 58 points (25-33=58).
The Bucks will return home Saturday night when they host the Tulsa Oilers on Westwind Homes Night. The Jr. Bucks will perform on the ice during the intermissions. Call 718-BUCK (2825) for tickets.
