After Wednesday's tilt, the Bucks and Brahmas will meet four more times this season, twice at the LEC, and twice at the NYTEX Sports Centre.
Jeff Bes currently leads the CHL in scoring with 57 points (13-44=57).
Bucks All-Star forward Darryl Smith is expected to play Wednesday night. Smith sat out Saturday's game with a minor injury. Smith leads all CHL rookies in scoring with 44 points (21-23=44).
Due to All-Star goaltender Sebastien Centomo taking a leave of absence to attend the birth of his first child, Ryan Gibb will start in net Wednesday night. The Bucks Equipment Manager Matt Brayfield will serve as Gibb's backup against the Brahmas. Centomo will return to the Bucks for Saturday's game in Mississippi.
The Brahmas have won eight of their last nine games, including their last two.
Scott Sheppard leads the Brahmas in scoring with 40 points (19-21=40).
Laredo will take to the road this weekend, playing at Mississippi Saturday night (Jan 24), before traveling to play Bossier-Shreveport next Monday night (Jan 26), and Rio Grande Valley next Thursday (Jan 29).
The Bucks will return home next Friday January 30th, when they host the Killer Bees in a Southeast Division match up. Call 718-BUCK (2825) for tickets.
