Bucks Host Amarillo Tonight, Tickets Available; Bucks Will Be Shorthanded, Dube And Amodeo Out

LAREDO, Texas – There are tickets available for tonight's Laredo Bucks game. Laredo hosts Amarillo at 7:30 p.m. at the LEC. For more information call 718-BUCKS (2825).

On Monday afternoon the Bucks placed defenseman Serge Dube on the 14-day injured reserve. Dube was injured last Friday night in a game against Corpus Christi. The move to the injured reserve is retroactive to Friday, November 7th.

Bucks forward Mike Amodeo was suspended Monday afternoon for three games by the Central Hockey League, he currently leads the league with 96 penalty minutes. Amodeo will begin serving the suspension tonight and will miss both games against Austin this weekend.

Amodeo already had two game misconducts under the general fighting category. Over the weekend he received a third game misconduct which resulted in an automatic one-game suspension, he also picked up a fourth game misconduct which triggered an automatic two-game suspension, which results in the three game total.

The Bucks will be shorthanded tonight, playing with 14 skaters and two goalies instead of the normal 16 skaters.
