Laredo Bucks News Release
LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks are featured in the summer edition of the CHL Digest, the league's online magazine. You can find the entire magazine on the CHL's homepage, www.centralhockeyleague.com.
The Bucks involvment in the Laredo community is featured on page 12, including photos of the team's summer appearances at J.C Martin Elementary, and Jack in the Box.
Also featured in the magazine, is a look back at the CHL's summer conference in Phoenix, Arizona, Rapid City's "Hockey in Heels" event, Oklahoma City Blazers broadcaster Jim Byers' column in the "Musings from the Mic" section, and much more.
During the season the CHL Digest is a bi-monthly online magazine, and during the summer the league publishes one edition.
*Open House August 23rd At LEC*
The Bucks will hold their annual Open House will be held on Saturday August 23rd, from 11am-4pm at the Laredo Entertainment Center . The event is free and open to the public.
This is your first chance to meet a few of this season's Bucks players, as some of them will be on hand signing autographs, as will Bucks head coach and general manager Terry Ruskowski. There will be behind the scene tours of the Bucks new bus, locker room, and the rest of the LEC. There will also be prizes, giveaways, free hot dogs and hamburgers, face painting for the kids and much more!
*Bucks Season Ticket Referral Program*
For every new season ticket that is purchased from a referral, the current season ticket holder that referred them will receive a $25.00 gift certificate to the Bucks team store. There is NO LIMIT to the amount of referrals that an existing season ticket holder can make.
For example, if a current season ticket holder refers a person who buys four new seats for the 2008-09 season, they will receive a $100 gift certificate to the Bucks team store.
