Bucks Face Busy Weekend, Play Three in Three

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will be busy this weekend, as they will play their first three-in-three of the season starting Friday.

The Bucks will travel to division rivals Rio Grande Valley (Friday) and Corpus Christi (Saturday), before hosting Rapid City for the first time ever on Sunday at the LEC.

Laredo will look to improve on their 1-1 mark, as they take on the Bees and Ice Rays, who both enter the weekend with a 1-0 record, while Rapid City went 0-0-2 in Colorado last weekend.

Rio blew out Rocky Mountain in their home opener on Saturday 7-2, with Rob Voltera and Nicolas Dummoulin each scoring two goals in the rout.

Corpus picked up a huge 12-3 win over Tulsa in Saturday night, as they scored a mind-blowing eight power-play goals in the rout of the Oilers.

Rapid City put up a good showing in their first two games, as they lost two shootout games in Colorado. The Rush fell Friday 7-6, and lost again on Saturday 5-4, to earn two points on the weekend.

Sunday's game at the LEC will finish up a busy weekend for Laredo and Rapid City, as both the Bucks and the Rush will have played on the road on Friday and Saturday night's.
