(Southaven, MS) -- Travis Clayton's power play goal at 12:19 of the second period turned out to be the game-winner in Bossier-Shreveport's 6-2 victory over the Mississippi RiverKings on Tuesday, October 21st at the DeSoto Civic Center.

The red-lighter came with Jeff Alcombrack in the penalty box and came a minute after Louis Dumont's short-handed goal had brought the RiverKings within one goal at 2-1.

Mississippi's other goal came on the power play in the third period, off the stick of Stephen Margeson, his second scoring play of the year, assisted by Jeff Nelson and Garrett Larson at 3:22. But, goals from Kevin Cooper and Tyrel Lucas, playing in his first game since being added to the roster, provided the final score.
