Despite a 5 run top of the 9th, the Waterloo Bucks (10-25) lost the first-half ending series finale with the Thunder Bay Border Cats (13-23) by a 10-6 final.
Trey Leonard went 2-4 with 2 runs scored, Patrick Ferguson had a 2-4 day, and Myles Emmerson (1-5) clubbed a two-run double to spark the lineup. Angelo Altavilla managed to walk 4 times, showing off his stellar plate discipline.
Waterloo opens the second half with a July 4th 6:35 pm start against the Willmar Stingers at Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium.
