Bucks Announce 2021 Revised Schedule

BISMARCK, ND - The Indoor Football League announced today, the Board of Directors has voted to push back the 2021 IFL Kickoff Weekend. In an effort, to provide, each of it's member teams the best possible opportunity for a successful season there is an adjustment to the Kickoff Weekend. A few teams, including the Bismarck Bucks, have elected to begin their seasons earlier on April 23.
"Scheduling decisions were made to ensure games would be available for fans and to ensure each markets COVID procedures were taken into consideration" - Heidi Ripplinger, General Manger. The Bismarck Bucks 16-game schedule, up from 14 scheduled games in 2020, will begin on the road April 23 in Green Bay. The Home Opener will take place at the Bismarck Event Center against a new league addition, the Massachusetts Pirates on Friday, May 8.
The Bucks 2021 Season home schedule and theme nights will be as follows:
- Saturday, May 8 vs. Massachusetts Pirates (Breast Cancer - HOME OPENER): Join the Bucks and the IFL in supporting the fight against Breast Cancer on Football Fights Cancer night presented by BEK Communications. In recognition of the evening, the Bucks organization will be wearing pink during the game.
- Saturday, May 15 vs. Green Bay Blizzard (Military Appreciation Night): Help us honor active and veteran military members as the Bucks take on the Blizzard. As a small thank you and salute to our active Military, Gold Star families, Wounded Warriors, Veterans and their family's game day tickets will be discounted with a Military ID presented by SCHEELS. In addition, SCHEELS will be giving Military members gift cards when the doors open, and while supplies last.
- Saturday, May 22 vs. Northern Arizona Wranglers (Senior Scholarship Award Night): Senior Scholarship night provides an opportunity for area businesses to support students with Scholarships. Seniors will be recognized during the game on behalf of community partners. If you would like to partner on a 2021 Student scholarship, please contact the Bucks Office for more details.
- Saturday, June 5 vs. Sioux Falls Storm (Kids Cancer & Mascot Day): Celebrate at the Bucks game with TAG and all his friends in the fight against childhood cancer. With the goal of encouraging every Bucks fan to contribute, this campaign will directly benefit local organizations such as Tracy's Sanctuary House to raise funds and awareness. Fans will receive TAGs Antlers and other kid-at-heart giveaways. If you would like to partner with the Bucks or have a mascot that would like to participate please contact the Bucks Office for more details.
- Saturday, June 12 vs. Iowa Barnstormers (COOP Night): Bring your family, friends, and co-workers for an evening of fun celebrating with members of the COOP community. Don't forget to arrive early to sign up for half-time opportunities on the field with the Bucks Promo Team. If you are a member of a COOP, check with them, for member ticket information.
- Friday, July 16 vs. Frisco Fighters (Farm Rescue Night): Farm Rescue Night is dedicated to those who support farmers in need. Proceeds from the night's game will support area Farm Rescue efforts when crisis strikes in the form of illness, injury, or natural disaster. Fans will receive a Bucks bandana while supplies last.
- Friday, July 30 vs. Green Bay Blizzard (First Responders Night): The Bucks will be honoring the Men and Women of Bucks Nation who serve as Law Enforcement Officers, Corrections Officers, Public Safety, Essential Workers, and First Responders. All First Responders and their family's will be offered discounted game day tickets with an ID as a small thank you to those who serve our communities.
- Friday, August 13 vs. Sioux Falls Storm (Fan Appreciation): What better way to get the family together than a night out Tailgating with the Bucks when they take on their rivals, the Sioux Falls Storm! The night will be dedicated to thanking our fans for their passion and support all season long. Throughout the game, the Bucks will randomly select rows of fans that will receive a variety of prizes that include gift certificates to local restaurants and retailers and much more.
Four expansion teams appear on the Bucks schedule for 2021, including the Massachusetts Pirates, Northern Arizona Wranglers, Frisco Fighters and Duke City Gladiators. Bismarck will host each one of these teams. Additional league expansion teams include the Spokane Shock and Louisville Xtreme.
Upon arrival to each game fans are encouraged to visit the 2nd level concourse to get a Bucks rally towel courtesy of Aramark, Bucks Antlers and Air Blasters courtesy of Dakota Community Bank. Season Ticket holders will receive their official 2021 Season tees when they stop by the North Bucks merchandise stand. Following all games, players will be available for the SCHEELS Signature Session on the Turf where fans have an opportunity to chat with players and collect their autographs.
