
Bryan Henderson named First-Team Lineman

Wichita, Kan. - Wichita Stealth lineman, Bryan Henderson (6-3, 280, Northwestern Oklahoma State) was named All-af2 First Team OL/DL at the af2 Awards Banquet Thursday night in Peoria. Henderson becomes the first player in franchise history to be named to the All-af2 team.
Henderson finished the 2002 season with 14 tackles, four and a half tackles for a loss, and 16 sacks. Henderson's 16 sacks ranked him second in the league behind af2 Lineman of the Year E.J. Burt (Cape Fear), and broke the team record (11.5) previously set in 2001 by Jeremy Johnson. Johnson went on to play the 2002 season with the Buffalo Destroyers of the Arena Football League.
Other familiar names to Stealth fans who made the All-af2 teams include - Tulsa's Mitch Allner, Larry Hollinquest, and Anthony Buich, San Diego's Rico Curtis, Arkansas' Greg Taylor and Lennie Johnson, and Peoria's Linocln Dupree and Ken Bouie. Allner was named to the first team and also received the Offensive Player of the Year Award. Dupree was named to the first team and received the Rookie of the Year Award.
