Bryan Acosta, Miguel Araujo Called up for International Duty in November

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers announced today that midfielder Bryan Acosta and defender Miguel Araujo have been called up by their respective countries for international matches for the FIFA international period in November. Acosta will join the Honduran Men's National Team while Araujo will represent the Peruvian Men's National Team.

Acosta and Honduras will square off against Mexico in two Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal matches in November. Honduras will first play host to Mexico on Friday, Nov. 17 at Estadio Nacional in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, before they travel to face Mexico on Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Mexico. Acosta has made 65 appearances for the Honduran Men's National Team. Most recently, the midfielder started in one of two appearances in Concacaf Nations League matches against Cuba in October.

Araujo will join Peru to play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Tournament with matches against Bolivia (Nov. 16) and Venezuela (Nov. 21). Araujo has made 29 appearances for the Peruvian Men's National Team. Most recently, Araujo was called up by Peru to face Chile and Argentina in October.
