Austin Bruins News Release

AUSTIN, Minn. - The Austin Bruins announced their training camp schedule with events kicking-off on Tuesday, July 28.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Minnesota state regulations have loosed up enough to all the Bruins to host over 150 hopeful-players, looking for a spot on the 2020-21 Austin Bruins roster. Including those who will be battling it out will be returning Bruins, draft picks, tenders, and other top-talents from across the United States and the world. The players will be split into eight teams and pitted against one-another for Bruins coaches, Rochester Grizzlies coaches, and various college scouts to see. Throughout the three day camp, teams will be decreased by way of cuts with roughly 40 players remaining by Friday night. Those remaining players will have the chance to showcase their skills in front of a COVID-limited crowd of 250 fans at the annual All-Star Game.

Registration begins Tuesday at 12:30 P.M. with the first game taking the ice at 2:00 P.M. Each contest will mimic the condition seen in a standard NAHL game at Riverside Arena as the coaching staff determines what players will become the next iteration of the Austin Bruins. Tickets to the All-Star Game are available through the Bruins front office by calling 507-434-4978.
