Bruins Introduce Lower Ticket Price For Youth
January 18, 2010 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Chilliwack Bruins News Release
The Chilliwack Bruins are pleased to announce a reduction in ticket prices for everyone 18 and under and all post secondary students (with valid ID) on selected seats for the remainder of their home games this season.
For each of the Bruins final ten home games, the first of which is January 23rd vs the Kamloops Blazers, the Bruins are offering selected seats for everyone 18 and all post secondary student (with valid ID) and under for just $9 per ticket, a reduction of more than 35%.This promotion will be effective as of Monday, January 18th, 2010.
"The reasons for doing this are twofold," said Bruins Director of Marketing Barry Douglas. "As our players continue their push towards the playoffs, we would like them to gain the full home game advantage. Secondly, we feel that it's extremely important to give our younger fans a less expensive ticket alternative. When studying feedback we recently received from our community, it became evident that this was a very important issue and we have reacted accordingly."
These specially priced tickets are available at the Prospera Centre Box Office.
