Chilliwack BC - Bruins Captain Nick Holden scored the shootout winner as the Chilliwack Bruins edged the Kamloops Blazers 3-2. The Bruins jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Randy McNaught, his first in the WHL, and Brayden Metz. The Blazers stormed back with a pair of their own late in the second period by Brady Calla and Kenton Dulle to tie things up. After a scoreless third and overtime, the Bruins scored the only two goals of the shootout and came away with the win.
Mark Friesen was once again sharp in the net for the Bruins, stopping 32 of 34 shots for the victory.
