
Bruins add 36th win of the season

Austin Bruins News Release
The Austin Bruins were back in action as they battled the Coulee Region Chill at the Onalaska Omni Center. The Austin bruins took a lead with just a couple minutes left in the first frame as Charlie Adams set up AJ Reid for a shorthanded goal. At the end of one period of play Austin led 1-0. The second frame the Bruins continued to pour on the pressure but could not solve goaltender Aaron Davis. The Bruins had 27 shots and led 1-0 after two periods of play. The final frame Coulee was finally able to get one past Tyler Bruggeman to tie the battle 1-1. Austin's Jeremy Finger scored his 17th goal of the season to give the Bruins their second lead of the evening, assisting was Brandon Wahlin. The Bruins added their 36th win of the season as Tyler Bruggeman netted the victory on his 21st birthday. Austin will officially finish the regular season tomorrow night at the Omni Center.
