
Brown OT Goal Gets Spits Past Sting

(Sarnia, ON) - Logan Brown scored on the first shift of overtime, leading the Spitfires to a 3-2 win over the Sting at the RBC Centre Saturday, in the front half of a weekend home-and-home set.
Jamie Lewis (11) and Cristiano DiGiacinto (15) had the other goals for Windsor (19-23-1-1), which moved back within four points of Saginaw for the eighth and final playoff spot, with two games in- hand, thanks to a 3-1 Barrie win over the Spirit.
Alexandre Renaud (8) and Hayden Hodgson (15) had the goals for Sarnia (22-17-4-2), which lost for the third time in as many games.
Brendan Johnston made 22 saves for his 10th win of the season. Taylor Dupuis (35 saves) took the loss.
The Spits host the Sting Sunday night, as the club honours greats Steve Ott and Adam Henrique.
