BROOKLYN, New York - Tickets for the Brooklyn Aviators and Danbury Whalers first round playoff series in the 2011-12 Federal Hockey League postseason will officially go on sale today, Monday, March 5th at 10:00 AM.

The Aviators will host the first game of the best-of-three series on Friday, March 9th, at 7:35 PM at the Aviator Sports and Events Center. The next game will be in Danbury on Saturday, March 10th at 7:35 PM at the Danbury Ice Arena. If necessary, game three will also be held in Danbury with puck drop scheduled for 5:05 PM.

Fans who would like to purchase tickets to the Aviators playoff game on Friday can do so by calling 718-758-7580, or by logging onto BrooklynAviators.com. Tickets are still General Admission, with prices set at; $12-Adult, $10 -Child /Senior, and VIP Skybox-$17.

Brooklyn finished the 2011-12 FHL regular season in fourth place with a 25-19-5-1 record. This is the second time in Aviators history that Brooklyn will face off against the Whalers in the first round of the playoffs. Last season, Brooklyn defeated Danbury in five games to advance to the FHL championship.
