The Torrington Titans (12-19) didn't put up much of a fight on Sunday, as the Brockton Rox (15-19) cruised to a blowout 10-3 win at Fuessenich Park.
The Brockton Rox scored five runs in the second on the Brockton Rox scored in the second on a fielder's choice, a single by Dillon Cooper,, and a solo home run by Anthony George.
The Brockton Rox were led by Alex Shaver's hitting. Shaver went 4-6, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the second inning and singled in the sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.
James Muse improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Brockton Rox. He allowed three runs over 3 2/3 innings. Muse struck out three, walked four and gave up five hits.
Adam Donovan (1-2) took the loss for the Torrington Titans. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
