LF Eugene Julien's game winning RBI single in the 14th Inning leads the Rox past the Tornadoes in front of a Brockton crowd of 5,486. Worcester has now lost a season high six games in a row and drops below .500 with a 9-10 mark. Brockton was led at the plate this afternoon by SS Mike Scanzano who had a 4-for-6 outing with an RBI. RF Keith Brachold, 3B Mike Torres, and Julien each had two hits on the day for the Rox, with Brachold hitting his third home run of the season. Brockton reliever Jason Wylie pitched a scoreless 14th inning to pick up his second win of the season. For Worcester this afternoon they were led by SS Zach Strong who was 2-for-6 with one run scored and two RBI.
