Bristol White Sox News Release
Minor League Baseball recently announced that the average cost for a family of four to enjoy a Minor League Baseball game this season is $62.52. The Short Season-A/Rookie-level classification average is $56.37.
Professional baseball in Bristol remains a real deal throughout Minor League Baseball, with the cost for a family of four in the Twin Cities only $34.00.
"Bristol Baseball, Inc. remains committed to making attending professional baseball games right in your own back yard affordable for all our fans," Sox GM Mahlon Luttrell noted.
The average costs were calculated using the prices of two adult tickets, two child tickets, four hot dogs, two sodas, two beers, a program or scorecard and parking. The prices for each of those items are lower in Bristol than on average across Short Season-A/Rookie ball.
"When stacked up against other professional sports leagues and family entertainment options, Minor League Baseball proves year after year that it provides for most bang for your buck," Minor League Baseball President Pat O'Conner said.
