Bristol White Sox News Release
The Bristol White Sox will return home after a six-game road trip to host the Johnson City Cardinals on Wednesday evening, July 11, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Boyce Cox Field. The gates will open at 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday night is Christmas in July Night, sponsored by the Sox and Bristol Baseball, Incorporated, the local non-profit organization which operates the Sox.
"With all the warm weather we've been having, this will be the night to think cool thoughts at the ballpark, and to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who are expected to make a special trip from the North Pole to cheer on the Sox," said Mahlon Luttrell, President of Bristol Baseball, Incorporated and General Manager for the Sox. "We'll also be collecting Christmas gifts for underprivileged children in our community, and ask each fan to bring a newly wrapped children's toy to donate to Toys for Tots."
