Bright House Sports Network to Televise All 2016 Tampa Bay Rowdies Home Matches

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Tampa Bay Rowdies and Bright House Networks are pleased to announce an exclusive partnership to televise all of the club's home matches. Beginning with the season opener on April 2, the Rowdies will air their home games exclusively on Bright House Sports Network.

More than 85,000 fans came out to Al Lang stadium to see the Rowdies in 2015. With this new partnership, the thrill of Rowdies soccer will now be available in on television in homes St. Petersburg/Tampa/ Clearwater and Orlando/Daytona/Melbourne.

"Bright House Sports Network is the perfect partner to share the renewed energy and excitement surrounding the Tampa Bay Rowdies," said Rowdies principal owner Bill Edwards. "Soccer is the fastest growing sport in America, with millions of kids playing across the country and tens of thousands playing right here Central Florida. With Bright House Networks we will be able to showcase our attack-minded style of play to soccer enthusiasts and families around the state."

Bright House Sports Network (BHSN) will televise all 16 home matches, plus pre and post-game shows, live and in high definition (HD). Matches can be seen exclusively on Bright House Networks HD Channel 1147 and in standard definition on channel 47. The contests will be telecast using 12 state-of-the-art HD cameras and even more microphones to ensure that every kick, tackle, foul and goal can be seen - and heard - in the viewer's living room. A replay of the game will be also be telecast the following Sunday at 2pm.
