January 2, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Kansas City Brigade News Release
The Kansas City Brigade concluded their three-day mini-camp on Saturday and now prepare for training camp. Thirty-seven players are in camp, which runs from January 3-20, as the roster will be trimmed to 24 by January 22. Mini-camp was a success both on and off the field as the Brigade started preparations for their inaugural season.
"The players came to camp in good shape and focused and it showed," Head Coach Kevin Porter said. "We have a lot to accomplish before our first game (January 29th at Dallas Desperados), but we have a great mix of veterans and rookies and the overall talent level is excellent. I am excited to see the competition unfold for starting jobs and roster spots."
