
Brigade to host first open tryout of off-season

Kansas City Brigade News Release
The Kansas City Brigade will begin its search for new additions to its roster with the first of two off-season open tryouts. The team will hold a second open tryout at a date to be announced later. Details of the first tryout are below.
The cost is $50 for pre-registered participants (registration form filled out and faxed in before October 3) and walk-up participants (registration form filled out at the door on October 8). All participants, pre-registered or walk-up, will pay in cash at the door. ONLY CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Skill players will register and workout first, followed by linemen. Kickers will have a separate tryout at a later date. Participants should wear a shirt, shorts, and shoes suitable for field turf. Participants should also bring applicable game film and a resume.
Participants will be evaluated in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle and broad jump, as well as compete in one-on-one position drills on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Test results will be posted on the team website, www.kcbrigade.com.
