Kansas City Brigade News Release

The Kansas City Brigade will begin its search for new additions to its roster with an off-season open tryout. The event will be Saturday, November 17th, 2007.

The cost is $50 for pre-registered participants (registration form filled out with check or money order mailed in before November 9th) and $60 for walk-up participants (registration form filled out at the door on November 17th).

Skill players will register and workout first, followed by linemen. This is a "non-padded workout". Participants should wear a shirt, shorts, and shoes suitable for field turf. Participants should also bring applicable game film and a resume if available.

Head Coach Kevin Porter and the coaching staff will evaluate participants in height and weight, the 40-yard dash (skill positions), 20-yard dash (linemen), pro-agility, standing broad jump, and vertical test. Test results will be posted on the team website, www.kcbrigade.com. Selected players who meet or exceed testing standards will be invited to an elite workout evaluating football skills.

To pre-register, visit the team's website or team store at 95th and Nall in Prairie Village. All participants must be 18 or older with a valid form of ID, have completed high school eligibility, and must complete a medical waiver at the door.
