April 29, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Louisiana IceGators News Release
Lafayette, LA â The Louisiana IceGators today announced that the team has accepted the resignation of General Manager Brian Kelley. The resignation was submitted to Gator Play LLC on Thursday morning and was accepted by the IceGators ownership group in a mutually agreed upon decision. Kelley was the 5th General Manager in IceGators history and worked for the club during the 2003-04 season.
"We wish the Kelley family the best of luck in the future," said IceGators Managing Partner John Lingo. "This decision will allow Brian to search out new endeavors that will be better for him and his family in the long run."
The IceGators will not hire a replacement for Kelley. The duties of the General Manager will be divided among current members of the IceGators front office and Gator Play ownership group.
The IceGators "Tickets for the 10th" season ticket drive is currently underway. With two days to go before the May 1 deadline, great season ticket packages are still available. For more information call the IceGators office at (337) 234-4423.
