
Brewers Roster Moves

Huntsville Stars News Release
The Milwaukee Brewers announced today that Stars' LHP Troy Cate has been promoted to Triple-A Nashville to take the roster spot of former Huntsville Star Steve Hammond who was traded to the San Fransisco Giants in a package for 2B Ray Durham. Replacing Cate on the Stars' roster will be RHP Alex Periard from Single-A Brevard County. The Brewers also placed OF Michael Brantley on the disabled list, and released INF Ryan Crew.
