
Brawlers to Hold Open Player Tryouts

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK. : The Bricktown Brawlers have announced on Tuesday, December 7 that the organization will be holding open player tryouts scheduled for Saturday, December 18 from the Cox Convention Center located at 1 Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City. Open player tryouts are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. and those that participate will be tested in several workouts in relation to the indoor football game. In addition, the Bricktown Brawlers Coaching Staff will be looking to sign two players from the open tryouts to the 2011 preseason roster.
Players must pay a fee of $60.00 the day of the open tryouts in order to participate, however, players that pre-register before December 18 will only have to pay a $50.00 fee. Participants must wear proper athletic attire for the open tryouts including turf shoes.
"The Oklahoma City community has a great amount of local talent and we are looking forward to the player tryouts. We are excited to be involved with the community and allowing local players this opportunity." stated Bricktown Brawlers Head Coach Steve Perdue.
