BRANDON GAME NOTES: The WHEAT KINGS kick off a 3-game Western Hockey League road trip Tuesday night in SASKATOON against the BLADES...BRANDON plays in PRINCE ALBERT on Wednesday and SWIFT CURRENT on Friday, before returning home to host MOOSE JAW on Saturday...WHEAT KINGS have won two straight games and six of their last seven...At home, BRANDON has won four straight games...Entering the week, the WHEAT KINGS sit in third place in the Eastern Division with a 13-7-0-1 record, good for 27 points - trailing the second place BRONCOS by one point and the Eastern Conference leading REGINA PATS by three...BRANDON is 8-4-0 at home and 5-3-0-1 on the road...As a result of Sunday's 2-1 win over the PATS, the WHEATS have moved into a fifth place tie with CALGARY in the Conference...Tuesday's game is the second of a 5-game stretch that will see the WHEAT KINGS play Eastern Division rivals...BRANDON is currently 6-1-0 vs. East Division teams - the only loss coming Sunday, November 4th (3-2- in REGINA)...WHEAT KINGS are 6-3-0-1 in their last ten games and are 4-1-0 in November, after compiling a 9-6-0-1 record in September / October.

LAST GAME: TYLER DITTMER'S team leading 15th goal of the season at the 10:03 mark of the third period Sunday afternoon lifted BRANDON to a 2-1 victory over REGINA...DANIEL BARTEK also scored for the WHEAT KINGS, who outshot the PATS 38-26 including 17-6 in the third period...JOE CALIGIURI improved his record to 11-6-0...BRANDON was 1-9 with the man advantage while killing off five REGINA powerplays, marking the fifth straight game that the WHEAT KINGS have not surrendered a powerplay goal.

WHOSE BEEN HOT? ANDREW CLARK, who has points in seven of his last 9 games (5-7-12), is currently tied with EVERETT'S KYLE BEACH for third place in the WHL scoring race (10-21-31)...TYLER DITTMER is 8th in the WHL (15-13-28) and third in goals. DITTMER has ponts in eight of his last 10 (7-6-13)...Linemate MATT LOWRY had his 7-game point scoring streak (3-5-8) snapped Sunday but the ex-TIGER has managed to collect at least a point in 17 of his last 19 games...Rookies SCOTT GLENNIE (4-2-6) and MATT CALVERT (0-5-5) had their 5-game point scoring streaks halted on Sunday. GLENNIE'S 10 goals leads all first year WHL players...16-year old BRAYDEN SCHENN has points in five of his last 6 games (4-4-8) and remains tied for the league lead in scoring among rookies...JOE CALIGIURI is currently tied for second in the WHL with eleven victories.

MILESTONES: ANDREW CLARK played in his 150th career WHL game last weekend vs. SWIFT CURRENT and is BRANDON'S active scoring leader (47-67-114) in 154 career games...Goalkeeper JOE CALIGIURI, who was 11-5-1-1 matched last year's win total on Sunday afternoon vs. REGINA...17-year old ANDREW HAYES posted his first ever home ice win on Friday against EDMONTON...With 26 points this season, MATT LOWRY has surpassed last year's totals with MEDICINE HAT (10-12-22).

BRANDON BITS: Of the 23 players on their current roster, 13 are from Manitoba and ten are first year players...BRANDON'S lone NHL drafted player is blueliner KEITH AULIE (CALGARY, 4th, 2007)...SPECIAL TEAMS: WHEAT KINGS' powerplay is currently clicking at 20% and is 6th in the WHL.
