Brandon Dean out six weeks

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., November 8- Arkansas RimRockers starting guard Brandon Dean is out of commission for up to six weeks. Dean was injured on opening night when he collided with an Austin Toros defender, but was able to finish the game. On December 2, Dean underwent successful surgery to repair his broken third metacarpal. Dr. Jeanine A. Anderson, MD of Arkansas Specialty Care Centers of Little Rock, AR performed the procedure and the recovery timeline is expected to be four to six weeks.

"Brandon had a successful surgery on Friday and is committed to the rehabilitation plan set forth by our medical staff," Chris Simmons, head athletic trainer said.
