SEASON SERIES: Tonight's game will be the first of four meetings between Ft. Worth and Corpus Christi this season...The two team's are scheduled to meet one time in each of the season's final three months, including their next game, Jan. 8 in Corpus Christi...The Brahmas will not host the IceRays again until the final week of the regular season...Ft. Worth won four out of six meetings last year with Corpus.
FORT WORTH NOTES: The Brahmas will take the ice tonight at the FWCC looking to snap a five-game winless streak...This will be Ft. Worth's first home game since a 4-3 win Sat., Nov. 16 against Memphis...Three playersâdefenseman Jeff Cameron and forwards Craig Foddrill and T.J. Warkusâwill be making their debut on home ice tonight; all three were signed in the last two weeks...Cameron has scored a goal in two of his first three games as a member of the Brahmas...Center Joe Van Volsen continues to lead the Ft. Worth offense with 22 points (5G/17A).
CORPUS CHRISTI NOTES: Despite a week of off ice turmoil concerning their ownership, the IceRays are playing solid hockey, having won two games in a row, including a 5-2 win on home ice last night over the San Angelo Saints...Power forward Ken Richardson registered a hat trick last night for the âRays...Former Brahmas standout Cosmo Dupaul is having a productive year for Corpus (6G/15A)...Winger Kenny Goetz is third in the CHL in penalty minutes with 148.
NEXT UP FOR THE BRAHMAS: The Brahmas will have a brief lay off next week before taking the ice again. Ft. Worth's next game will be on Fri., Dec. 13 at Tulsa (7:35 p.m.). The Brahmas will then travel to Oklahoma City on Sat., Dec. 14 (7:05 p.m.). Both game are scheduled to be broadcast live on KTFW 92.1 FM. Ft.
