SOMEONE HAS LUBBOCK'S NUMBER

The Cotton Kings and the Laredo Bucks wrap up a home-and-home set tonight in Lubbock after the Cotton Kings were defeated 3-1 last night in Laredo. The Cotton Kings loss snapped a one game losing streak and now the ‘Kings look to rebound and end a three game winless streak against the Bucks. The Bucks are one of three teams the Cotton Kings have never defeated.

THE SERIES

This is the fourth meeting of the season and in franchise history between these two squads. The Laredo Bucks lead the series with a 3-0-0 record, with Chris Grenville (2g,3a) and Eric Schneider (3g,2a) leading the Bucks and the series in scoring with 5 points each. Blaz Emersic, who has 4 assists, leads the Cotton Kings in the series. THE LAST MEETING

Chris Grenville and Eric Schneider each contributed a goal and an assist for 2-point performances to help lead the Laredo Bucks over the Cotton Kings 3-1 last night at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Both goalies were busy between the pipes, as Bucks netminder Lance Leslie stopped 32 of 33 shots and Lubbock's Mike Brusseau stopped a season high 38 of 41 shots. Lubbock's lone goal was placed in by Derek Gauthier.

ROSTER CHANGES

Lubbock is without goaltender Neil Savary (knee), who remains on the injured reserve list. The Laredo Bucks are without defenseman Steve Weidlich, who is on the IR, and center Dave Gove, who is serving a call-up to the San Antonio (AHL) Rampage.
