Brahmas Announce First Ever Inter-League Game

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (August 7) - The Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) announced their preseason game for the 2007-08 campaign on Tuesday.

The Brahmas will face the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) on Friday, October 12 at home at the NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills.

This will be the first time in the Brahmas ten year history to compete against a team from the ECHL.

"We are excited about getting out there. Being able to compete against another competitive league will be incredible for both organizations. I can't wait for the fans to come check it out," said Head Coach Dan Wildfong.

Friday's contest is scheduled to start at 7:05 PM. This will be the first opportunity for fans to see a CHL game at the Brahmas new home and for their first glance at the team after a one year absence. This game will also be played in conjunction with the NYTEX Sports Centre grand opening weekend.
