April 18, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Nashville SC News Release
NASHVILLE - Defender Bradley Bourgeois might have elite talent as a soccer player, but he's not bad at waiting tables. As a part of the 18th Annual Kevin Carter Foundation and Waiting for Wishes Celebrity Waiters Dinner, Bourgeois joined celebrities from around Nashville at The Palm restaurant downtown on Tuesday evening to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation and even donated some Nashville SC gifts to the guest of honor.
Donning an apron, and dolling out steaks and drinks, Bourgeois exuded the personality and charm he has been known for since joining Nashville SC prior to the 2018 season. Bourgeois was joined by current and former members of the Tennessee Titans including Adam Humphries, Michael Roos, Jevon Kearse, Eddie George and Keith Bulluck. Other former NFLers were present as well in London Fletcher, Trent Green and current Lipscomb Academy football coach Trent Dilfer.
Not just limited to the grass, Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn joined the fun alongside MMA fight Tito Ortiz, and MLB catcher David Ross. ESPN reporters Hannah Storm and Lisa Salters also attended.
Nashville is the Music City, and artists were well represented. Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, Scotty McCreery, Big and Rich, Motley Crue, and others donated their time and sang for guests at the afterparty.
The guest of honor for the evening was Andie, a 8-year-old girl who has beaten cancer with the help of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bourgeois made her night special by giving her a personalized Nashville SC jersey, scarves, tickets and a signed picture.
