
Boston Frenzy names coaches

Boston, MA. Dan Savage, co-owner of the Boston Frenzy, one of the ABA professional basketball expansion teams, today announced the signing of two coaches for the upcoming season - Joe "Jellybean" Bryant and Len Desautels. Savage commented, "I am so excited that Joe and Len will be joining our team as coaches. They bring so many qualities to our team. From Joe's connections in the NBA to his own coaching ability, and Len's knowledge of New England talent and coaching skills, we have two outstanding people guiding our team. We will be very competitive."
Joe "Jellybean" Bryant played eight seasons in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Clippers and Houston Rockets averaging 8.7 ppg in 606 career games in the NBA. He was a former assistant coach at LaSalle before serving most recently as head coach for the Las Vegas Rattlers in the ABA last season.
Len Desautels, following a successful 15 year high school coaching career moved on for 13 season as top assistant at UMASS-DARTMOUTH. Coach "D" brings a local flavor to the team and will serve as both the head assitant as well as Director of Player Personnel.
