
Boston Breakers Set for Round Two with Jamaica

ORLANDO, Fla. (March 27, 2015) - The Boston Breakers made final preparations Friday for their match Saturday night against the Jamaican Women's National Team. It's the second and final meeting between the teams in Florida.
The Breakers and Reggae Girlz met Wednesday night at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla., and the Breakers came away with a 5-0 victory.
Five different players scored Wednesday for Boston, which improved to 2-0 on the preseason. Stephanie McCaffrey, Kristie Mewis, and Cat Whitehill all scored in the first half. It came in an 18-minute span that started in the ninth minute with McCaffrey's first goal of the preseason. Morgan Marlborough and Bianca Brinson scored once each in the second half to solidify the victory. For Brinson, it was her second goal of the preseason, which ties the former Texas A&M star for the team lead in goals scored. Brinson scored once in a 4-0 win over Boston College on March 20, a match in which Maddy Evans scored the first two goals.
The Breakers arrived in Orlando Thursday and trained Friday at Central Winds Park in Winter Springs, Fla., just outside of Orlando. Central Winds Park is the site of Saturday night's game against Jamaica. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and admission is $6 for adults, $3 for children.
The Breakers open the 2015 NWSL season April 11 at Portland Thorns FC before returning to Boston Sunday, April 26 at 5 p.m. ET to take on the Houston Dash at Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium on the campus of Harvard University.?
