CHICAGO (June 19, 2015) - Two of the NWSL's hottest teams play each other Sunday at 4 p.m. ET when Jami Kranich and the Boston Breakers host Jess Fishlock and Seattle Reign FC at Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium.

Kranich made a season-high eight saves and defender Maddy Evans had a goal to lead the Breakers to a 1-1 draw against the Washington Spirit on June 6 ahead of the NWSL's 12-day break for the group stage of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The backup goalkeeper improved her record to 2-1-2 while starter Alyssa Naeher is away on international duty with the U.S. Women's National Team and she has posted two shutouts and allowed just two goals in her last four games.

The result against the Spirit was the second time this season Boston has taken at least a point from a game in which they were only able to manage two shots on goal as well as their second point recovered from a losing position this year.

The Breakers and Seattle come into the game with the best record in the league of the last four games as both clubs have garnered eight points during that stretch.

In particular, midfielder Kristie Mewis has been instrumental during that run having scored two goals - both of which were game-winners - in the last four matches.

Fans can expect an enjoyable midfielder battle between Mewis and her Seattle counterpart, Fishlock, on Sunday.

The 28-year-old Reign FC midfielder had a goal and an assist to lead Seattle to a 3-0 over Sky Blue FC on June 6 and earn her NWSL Player of the Week honors.

The Wales international, a two-time member of the NWSL Best XI, has helped Reign FC recover from a two-game losing streak with a goal and an assist in the last four games as Seattle have gone unbeaten during that stretch to vault themselves into third in the standings.

Keelin Winters and Kim Little also scored in the match against SBFC, while goalkeeper Haley Kopmeyer needed to make just one save to earn her second consecutive shutout behind her backline of Lauren Barnes, Kendall Fletcher, Stephanie Cox and Rachel Corsie.

The goal for Little, the 2014 NWSL MVP and Golden Boot winner, was her first in seven matches this season after setting a league record with 16 goals last year.

Regardless, the Scotland international has found other ways to contribute for Reign FC - registering three assists so far this season, tied with Portland Thorns FC midfielder Meleana Shim for second in the NWSL.
