Boston Breaker Mollie Pathman Takes the Pitch for the UEFA Women's Champions League

HANOVER, Ma. (October 16, 2014) - Boston Breakers Mollie Pathman takes the pitch today in Copenhagen, Denmark at 12:30p.m. EST for the away leg of the round of 32 in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Apollon hosted Brondby in their first meeting last Wednesday for a 1-0 win with converted penalty kick in the 92nd minute by English National Team forward Lianne Sanderson.

Pathman arrived in Cyprus on the 16th of September and since has trained almost every day and some twice a day. Apollon Ladies is a squad with players from different countries, mainly loan players from the NSWL. Among others, she plays alongside Yael Averbuch, Danesha Adams, Ashley Nick and Haley Kopmeyer.

In preparation of the Champions League matches Pathman started in all four friendly games against local young boys teams. In the first leg she played the full 90 minutes as a left full back, helping the team to maintain a clean sheet.

November 2nd will start the domestic campaign for Apollon and begins with the super cup game. If the club qualifies for the round of 16 in the UEFA Women's Champions League they will play again on November 8th and 12th .
