Boston Blazers Announce Revised 2009 NLL Season Schedule

BOSTON (December 17, 2008) - The Boston Blazers have announced a revised 2009 regular season schedule as the team prepares for its first season of professional indoor lacrosse action in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The Blazers will play eight home games at the TD Banknorth Garden as part of a 16-game regular season NLL schedule.

The team makes its Garden debut on January 17 when the Blazers square off against division foe the New York Titans. Seven days earlier on January 10, the expansion Blazers open their inaugural season on the road when they face the Titans at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

The Blazers' revised 2009 schedule features two new home matchups against Western Division opponents when Blazers take-on the Portland Lumberjax on January 31 and the San Jose Stealth on February 28. All eight home games are slated for Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. (ET).
