Cape Cod Frenzy News Release

Harlem, NY. The ABA Boston Frenzy basketball team, to a man, battled the talented and well-coached Harlem Strong Dogs, but came up short in the end, 121-111. The game was a back and forth affair showcasing the fast-paced, tempo-changing style that is the ABA. The Strong Dogs, led by ABA All-Star guard, Kaz Nakagawa, jumped out to a 24-21 lead after one quarter and extended that lead by the half to 57-43 on a well executed attack and pressure defense.

But the Frenzy players did not quit, posting 39 points in the third quarter to eventually cut the score to 84-80. But a late fourth quarter rally fell short and the Harlem team emerged victorious. Boston was led by ABA All Star forward Alexus Foyle with 33 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Guard Sly McIntosh chipped in 21 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.

For the Strong Dogs, D'Quarius Stewart posted 23 points, Kenya Caruthers had 20 points and 15 boards, Carl Sanders added 21 and Kyle Williams had 19 points in a balanced attack.
