Special Retirement Ceremony to Take Place at Halftime
WHAT: Ruthie Bolton Pre-Game Media Availability before special halftime ceremony (Saturday, August 20, Monarchs vs. Seattle Storm, Tip-off at 1:00 p.m.). In honor of one of the greatest players in the history of the WNBA, Monarchs legend Ruthie Bolton will be the first player in Monarchs history to have her jersey retired!
WHEN: Media Availability Saturday, August 20 12:00 p.m. - 12:20 p.m. WHERE: ARCO Arena Working Media Room
OTHER GAME HIGHLIGHTS: Court of Dreams Presentation Joe and Gavin Maloof are building a Monarchs basketball "Court of Dreams" at the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento on behalf of the Northern California-area Rotary and Sacramento-area Kiwanis Clubs. The special presentation of the Monarch's Court of Dreams to the Children's Receiving Home will take place during the first period of the game.
Summer BBQ Set Giveaway A Monarchs summer BBQ set will be given to the first 5,000 fans in attendance!
