Orange County Flyers News Release
The Orange County Flyers would like to invite all fans out to the ballpark this week for a three-game series against the Yuma Scorpions as OC looks to solidify their playoff positioning in the GBL South Division. The Flyers, winners of eight straight games and 17 of their last 19 games, begin their series against the Scorps on "Thirsty Thursday" presented by The Pint House, with $2 beers and sodas at the ballpark.
Friday the Flyers will be joined by KFI's John & Ken Show, which will be broadcasting live from outside the ballpark leading up to the game. Friday is bobblehead night, and the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a special Orange County Flyers John Kobylt bobblehead feating the KFI host.
The Flyers are entering their final regular-season homestand, and tickets for all games are still available by going to the team's website www.OrangeCountyFlyers.com or by calling (714) 526-8326 to reserve a seat.
Orange County is coming off a doubleheader sweep of the Tijuana Cimarrones on Saturday that featured the Goodwin Field debut for former NL All-Star Mark Prior, who struck out four batters over two innings in the Flyers 7-1 win in Game 1. The day also served as the professional baseball debut of KROQ's Stryker, who led off and played left field in the first inning in a Flyers 12-1 win in Game 2.
