Bluefish to Hold National Anthem Auditions

(Bridgeport, CT - Mar. 23, 2009) - The Bridgeport Bluefish will be holding their annual National Anthem auditions on Wednesday, April 1 at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard. Registration for the event will begin at 5 p.m. with auditions commencing at 5:30 p.m. Tryouts will be limited to the first 30 registrants, who will be vying for anthem openings throughout the season.
All contestants will have their opportunity to sing the National Anthem on the field in front of a panel of judges. Performances will be held with a one-minute thirty second time limit. Solos, groups, and instrumentalists are all invited to perform. Some of the areas of focus for the judges will be on lyrical accuracy, voice quality, presentation, voice projection, and overall performance and talent.
All fans are invited to The Ballpark at Harbor Yard to watch these performances and support their friends and family as they audition. In addition, the Bluefish Box Office and Gear Shop will be open to everyone in attendance.
