June 27, 2005 - Bridgeport, Conn. - Joe Cruz and the umpiring crew suspended the Bridgeport Bluefish/Nashua Pride game on Monday evening in front of 2,042 fans at the Ballpark at Harbor Yard, due to dense fog that covered the field.

In the top of the first, Darren Bragg hit a lead off homerun on the first pitch of the game. Bragg, a former Boston Red Sox, hit his fourth homerun of the year and first against the Bluefish.

The Bluefish responded in the bottom of the fourth as Michael Coleman smashed his 15th homerun over the left centerfield wall, tying Pride first baseman Brian Becker for the league lead in homeruns.

The Pride tied the game when Joe Kilburg hit a two-RBI double into right field just above Peanut Williams' outstretched glove.

The Bluefish took their second lead of the game when Peanut Williams grounded into a double play, allowing Gary Burnham to score from third. Burnham reached third by singling to right and reaching third on an error by catcher Luis Rodriguez, who tried to throw Brady Williams out at first after a sacrifice-bunt.

The Pride tied the game again when Bragg popped up into shallow field. The ball dropped after Escobar attempted to make a diving catch when Coleman lost the ball in the fog. Bragg's second RBI of the game allowed Tom Creighton to earn his 12th run of the season.
